About Our Founder, Dr. James Fleming

Dr. James (Jim) W. Fleming has worked and lived in Israel since 1973. As an archaeologist he is responsible for 18 excavations of important sites in Israel.  As a scholar he has taught and lectured extensively, including: Lecturer in Archaeology at the School for Overseas Students at the Hebrew University in Jeruslaem, and as Professor of Geography and Archaeology at the Tantur Ecumenical Institute for Advanced Theological Studies.  He continues to teach Jews and Arabs about Christianity in the Government Tour Guide Courses in Israel.

Goal

The goal of the Explorations in Antiquity Center is to help people understand the Bible and the ancient world in its historical and cultural context. We do this by providing exact replicas of ancient life settings coupled with cutting-edge teaching based on the most up-to-date evidence and information in the fields of archaeology and biblical scholarship.

The Explorations in Antiquity Center is a qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit museum. All donations are tax-deductible. Your donations are greatly appreciated and necessary for the continuation of the Center.
